This year, the Cup begins on the water.
Step aboard the Bass & Flinders at noon for an hour on the Georges River and Botany Bay, with a glass of Prosecco in hand and canapés moving through the deck. From there we return to the Pavilion, where a three-course lunch unfolds beside the water and the afternoon builds towards the main event.
Throughout, a deluxe drinks package pours Australian and European wines, favourite beers and non-alcoholic options. There are sweeps to join and prizes to be won, and when the field lines up at 3pm, the race plays out on the Pavilion's big screen.
Three hours, three courses, one river, and the race that stops a nation. Racewear encouraged.
